This course provides an introduction to computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools through hands-on practices. Students are taught about the difference between MT (machine translation) and TM (translation memory), as well as fundamental concepts of Translation Memory tools in order to gain an understanding of how these tools work. The tools which will be taught are Termsoup, memoQ, memoQ Cloud, Phrase and Trados Studio 2022.
